Assam registers 9 more deaths due to Covid-19 on Tuesday, toll rises to 884

Oct. 20: On Tuesday, Assam registered 09 more deaths due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state due to coronavirus has now reached 884. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 09 deceased were identified as:

• Bharati Nandi (62), Shahadat AU (58) & Samir Kumar Roy (60) of Kamrup Metro
• Chatanya Phukan (47) of Golaghat
• Lakheswar Baruah (60) & Dombaru Buragohain (65) of Golaghat
• Gulap Kanu (35) of Tinsukia & Rina Das (55) of Tinsukia
• Bhadreswar Hazarika (70) of Biswanath
