Assam registers 9 more COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, tally rises to 315

September 1: On Tuesday, Assam registered another 9 deaths due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now gone upto 315. This was informed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday night. The deceased were identified as:

• Himangshu Sengupta (75) from Karimganj
• Bulindra Nath Borah (68) & Tirtha Gogoi (58) from jorhat
• Papri Nandi (39), Mantosh Roy (54), Nazrul Islam (45) from Hojai
•  Keshab Ch Das (75) from Nalbari
• Pranita Bharali (45) from Dhemaji
• Late Subal Dey (72) from Dibrugarh
