Assam registers 7 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Wednesday, toll rises to 785

Oct. 7: Assam registered another 07 deaths due to coronavirus on Wednesday. With this, the death tally of the state due to COVID-19 has now reached 785. This was confirmed in a tweet on Wednesday by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 07 deceased were identified as:

• Prafulla Borah (64) & Munindra Das (45) of Dibrugarh
• Nabadeep Konwar (43) of Sivasagar
• Usha Rani Rai (60) of Charaideo
• Bhaban Baruah (65) of Kamrup Rural
• Manik Saikia (84) of Golaghat
• Sukumar Ch Chakraborty (73) of Kamrup Metro.
