Assam registers 6 more deaths including Samar Deb in Cachar, tally goes upto 132

August 7: Another six persons in Assam were detected as COVID-19 positive. Out of the six, one person is from Cachar. The deceased has been identified as Samar Deb (61). With this, the death tally of Cachar has gone upto 07.

The other 5 persons in the state who succumbed to COVID-19 are Praban Kumar Agarwala (57) of Dhubri, Sita Devi (56) of Kokhrajhar, Renu Gogoi (60) of Dibrugarh, Abdul Gofur (68) of Nagaon & Nilmani Chakraborty (69) of Kamrup Metro. With this, the death tally has gone upto 132.
