Assam registers 6 more COVID-19 deaths, tally rises to 203

August 18: Another 6 patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The deceased were identified as Sunandaram Deka (69), Late Bikrant Singh Chetri (31) of Kamrup Rural; Gour Gopal Biswas (72) of Kamrup Metro; Saif Uddin (39) of Karimganj; Subhash Chandra Acharjee (75) &  Pradip Kumar Singha (55) of Cachar. With this, the death tally of the state has crossed the 200-mark and reached 203.
