Assam registers 5 deaths due to COVID-19 on Sunday including 2 in Cachar

Dec. 20: On Sunday, five more persons lost their lives in Assam due to COVID-19, out of which, 02 are from Cachar. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 1017. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The  deceased were identified as:

• Anadi Kumar Roy (82) & Late Usha Dutta (74) of Cachar
• Ghonakanta Dutta (66) of Golaghat
• Saradindu Roy Choudhury (74) of Sonitpur
• Mahamad Ali (62) of Nagaon
