Assam registers 4 more deaths on Sunday due to COVID-19, toll reaches 993

Dec. 6: On Sunday, four more persons lost their lives in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 993. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 04 deceased were identified as:

• Sahadeb Samanta (40) of Dibrugarh
• Anima Kar (50) of Jorhat
• Thaneswar Boro (55) of Sonitpur
• Pranab Bhattacharjee (65) of Kamrup Metro
