Assam registers 4 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Saptami, toll rises to 900

Oct. 23: On the day of Maha Saptami of Durga Puja, 04 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now gone upto 900. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 04 deceased were identified as:

• Sunil Swami (60) of Sonitpur
• Umesh Chandra Das (70) of Kamrup Metro
• Usha Bordoloi (25) of Morigaon
• Ganga Maya Gurung (60) of Sonitpur
