Assam registers 4 more COVID deaths including 1 from Karimganj, tally reaches 105

August 2: Assam witnessed another 4 deaths due to COVID-19 on Sunday. Out of the four, one of them is from Karimganj district. The deceased was identified as Mridula Ghosh (54).

Apart from this, the other 3 who succumbed to COVID-19 infection in the state are Tilak Chandra Das (50) of Kamrup Metro, Santa Sarkar (62) of Tinsukia and Samir Phukan (52) of Jorhat.

This was informed in a tweet by State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma. With this, the COVID death tally of the state has gone upto 105.
