Assam registers 3 more COVID-19 deaths on Saturday, tally rises to 289

August 29: Another three persons lost their lives in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death tally of the state has now gone upto 289. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday night. The deceased were identified as:

• Dipali Bhuyan (76) of Dibrugarh
• Dharam Nath Singh (57) of Tinsukia
• Anjit Kumar Nath (54) of West Karbi Anglong
