Assam registers 2 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Saturday, toll reaches 1035

Dec. 26: On Saturday, two more persons lost their lives in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 1035. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The two deceased were identified as:

• Gabinda Chkarbarty (70) of Bongaigaon
• Prabin Das (75) of Kamrup
