Assam registers 14 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Saturday, toll rises to 735

Oct. 3: On Saturday, Assam registered 14 more deaths due to coronavirus. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 735. In a tweet, this was confirmed by State Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 14 deceased were identified as:

• Monoranjan Deb (87) of Cachar
• Sujit Kumar Dey (67) of Dibrugarh
• Pujari Roy (64) & Mohi Ram Saikia (84) of Kamrup Metro
• Subal Chandra Deb (70) of Nagaon
• Tarakeswar Chakraborty (49) & Dhanjit Deka (37) of Nalbari
• Gajendra Kalita (65) of Kamrup Rural
• Tarani Kanta Borah (82), Jayanta Bora (54) & Panchanan Gogoi (63) of Jorhat
• Kanak Changmai (75) of Sivasagar
• Rani Doley (22) of Lakhimpur
• Swapan Chakraborty (52) of Karbi Anglong
