Assam registers 02 death due to COVID-19 on Tuesday, toll reaches 966

Nov. 17: On Tuesday, another one patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has reached 964. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The deceased was identified as:

• Lilima Dutta (65) of Tinsukia
• Chitra Ranjan Sarkar (77) of Goalpara
