Assam receives 5,56,000 doses of Covishield on Tuesday

July 20: There has been a total imbalance between the demand and supply of Covid-19 vaccines in Assam. Many are eagerly waiting to get the jab, but due to non-availability of vaccines, many had to return back disheartened after long hours of wait in the vaccination centres. Meanwhile, Assam health Minister, Keshab Mahanta on Tuesday evening informed that Assam has received 5,56,000 doses of Covishield on Tuesday.

It is expected that the vaccines (Covishield) will reach the districts by Thursday and after that the vaccination sessions will start again throughout the state.
