Assam imports 50,000 PPE Kits from China, consignment received by Himanta

April 15: Amidst the outbreak of coronavirus in the country, the emphasis is laid upon more testing. In order to carry out the tests, PPE Kits are required. State Health Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma assured during a press meet that very soon Assam will conduct 1 lakh rapid tests. On Wednesday night, the PPE Kits ordered by the government of Assam from Guangzhou in China were delivered in Guwahati by a cargo flight. State Health Minister and MoS Health Pijush Hazarika personally went to the airport to receive the consignment.

Another BIG reason to cheer!
