APSC to conduct a combined recruitment exam for various engineering services

Nov. 20: In its election manifesto, BJP assured to provide one lakh jobs to the youth of Assam. Movng a step ahead n this direction, state Chief Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday stated, “Right from the day of taking charge of the Govt, we have been committed to fulfill the promise of providing one lakh jobs to the youth of Assam. Taking a step further to speed up the recruitment drive, we have taken two significant decisions.”

Taking to his twitter handle on Saturday, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma stated the two important decisions taken in this connection:

1. Recruitment commissions headed by officers in the rank of Additional Chief Secretary for Grade III & IV posts
2. APSC to conduct a combined recruitment exam for various engineering services
