Another Covid-19 +ve patient dies at SMCH on Monday

April 26: On Monday another Covid-19 positive patient died at Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) at 5 PM. The deceased Fatima Begum from Kaliganj Bazar in Karimganj district was admitted at SMCH on 18 April, 2021. While admitting at SMCH, the patient was detected as Covid-19 positive in Rapid Antigen Test (RAT). As per doctor’s report, the deceased had hypertension with past history of CVA arithrits. She also had fever and cough. The patient was on ventilator since 18 April. Finally, she breathed her last today.
