হাইলাকান্দিতেও পূজার ছুটি ১৬ থেকে ২৫ অক্টোবর
Puja holidays in Hailakandi from 16 to 25 October

১৩ অক্টোবরঃ হাইলাকান্দি জেলায় সমস্ত সরকারি  স্কুল ও শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে  দুর্গাপূজার ছুটি আগামী ১৬ থেকে ২৫ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত।  জেলার ডিস্ট্রিক্ট ডেভেলপমেন্ট কমিশনার তথা ভারপ্রাপ্ত জেলা প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা আধিকারিক এফ আর লস্কর জানিয়েছেন,  পরবর্তী নির্দেশ না দেওয়া পর্যন্ত হাইলাকান্দি জেলাতেও  কাছাড় জেলার অ্যাকাডেমিক ক্যালেন্ডার মেনেই ছুটির দিন ও বিভিন্ন দিবস উদযাপন করা হবে। সে জন্য বিভাগীয় আধিকারিকদের তিনি নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন। ওই নির্দেশে কাছাড়ের অ্যাকাডেমিক  ক্যালেন্ডারের দিনক্ষণ অনুযায়ীই  শিল্পী দিবস,  সাধারণতন্ত্র দিবস,  জাতীয় বিজ্ঞান দিবস,  শিশু  সুরক্ষা দিবস,  বিশ্ব জল দিবস,  পরিবেশ দিবস,  বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্য দিবস,  যোগা দিবস, স্বাধীনতা দিবস, শিক্ষক দিবস, সরস্বতী পুজা ইত্যাদি পালন করতে বলা হয়েছে। উল্লেখ্য,  ওই অ্যাকাডেমিক ক্যালেন্ডারে বছরে ২৩৮টি ক্লাস নেওয়ার কথা বলা হয়েছে।

October 13: All government schools and educational institutions in Hailakandi will remain closed from 16 to 25 October. F.R.Laskar, District Development commissioner cum District Education Officer in-charge informed that till further notice, the educational institutions will follow the holiday list, academic calendar and observation of various days as that of Cachar district. In this regard, he has given necessary directions to the concerned officers. In that notification, it was stated that as per the list of Cachar district, Artistis Day (Shilpi Dibosh), National Science Day, Child Security Day, World Water Day, Environment Day, Yoga Day, Independence Day, Teachers’ Day, Saraswati Puja etc. are to be observed. It needs mention here that in that academic calendar it was stated that 238 classes are to be taken in the current year.
