৩০ সেপ্টেম্বরঃ শিলডুবিতে স্বাস্থ্য শিবির করল আম্রপল্লব ও যুক্ত নামে দুই এনজিও। স্থানীয় ব্যবস্থাপনায় ছিল পল্লী উন্নয়ন সংস্থা। সাতসকালেই বিভিন্ন জায়গা থেকে রোগীরা গিয়ে লাইনে দাঁড়ান। ডা. ইব্রাহিম আলি ও ডা. রাহুল আলম চৌধুরীকে নিয়ে এনজিও কর্মকর্তারা পৌঁছুলেই স্বাস্থ্যশিবির শুরু হয়ে যায়। বিকেল পর্যন্ত বিনা শুল্কে ২০০ রোগীর রোগ পরীক্ষা করেন তাঁরা। আয়োজকরা তাদের জন্য ওষুধেরও বন্দোবস্ত করেন। শিলডুবিতে এই ধরনের ব্যবস্থা করায় এলাকাবাসী ডাক্তারদ্বয় এবং আয়োজকদের ধন্যবাদ জানান। দিনভর শিবিরে উপস্থিত থেকে সবকিছু তদারকি করেন আম্রপল্লবের চেয়ারম্যান স্বর্ণালী চৌধুরী, সভাপতি অজয় রায়, সাধারণ সম্পাদক জয়দীপ চক্রবর্তী, উপসভাপতি অভিজিত ভট্টাচার্য, কোষাধ্যক্ষ শুভ দেব, সুজিতকুমার দাস, শর্বাণী ভট্টাচার্য, শুভলক্ষ্মী চৌধুরী প্রমুখ।

আম্রপল্লবের উপসভাপতি অভিজিতবাবু জানান, শিলডুবিতে একটি স্বাস্থ্যশিবির করেই দায় সারবেন না তাঁরা। আজকের রোগীদের অবস্থা জানতে এবং ওই এলাকায় আরও স্বাস্থ্যসেবা পৌঁছে দিতে তাঁরা আবার সেখানে ডাক্তারদের নিয়ে যাবেন।

September 30: A health camp was organized by two NGOs, namely, Amrapallav and Jookto at Sildhubi. The health camp was arranged in association with Pally Unnoyan Sangstha, Sildhubi. Dr. Ibrahim Ali and Dr. Rahul Alam Choudhury examined the patients in the health camp. Till evening, a total of 200 patients were examined by them free of cost. The organisers of the health camp also distributed free medicines among the patients. Such a humanitarian step taken by the organisers and the two doctors were lauded by the people of the locality. Sildubhi being located in a rural set up, people rarely get good health services there. All the office bearers of Amrapallav including its Chairman Swarnali Choudhury, President Ajoy Roy, General Secretary Joydeep Chakraborty, Vice President Abhijit Bhattacharjee, Treasurer Subha Deb, Sujit Kumar Das, Subhalakshmi Choudhury and others remained all throughout the day and monitored the event.

Abhijit Bhattacharjee, Vice President of Amrapallav informed that this health camp was just a humble beginning. They will not stop by just merely organising a single event. Mr. Bhattacharjee said that they will also do a follow up of the patients very soon who attended the health camp today.
