Amit Shah arrives in Assam on Friday night, grand reception accorded
Dec. 25: Union Home Minister & National President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Amit Shah reached Guwahati late at night on 25 December. He will attend several important ceremonial events scheduled on December 26, 2020.
Amit Shah was greeted by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and other dignitaries at Guwahati Airport on Friday night. Taking to his Twitter handle, CM Sonowal wrote, “I heartily welcomed Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji at Guwahati airport and thanked him on behalf of the people of Assam as he is set to launch several developmental projects for the state.”
