Alumnus of Holy Cross School, Prince Lawrence Dhyrianathan passes away at Adelaide

April 11: An alumnus of Holy Cross High School, Silchar, Prince Lawrence Dhyrianathan breathed his last in a private hospital at Adelaide in Australia on 3 April, 2022. He was 51. He was the son of Major Dhyrianathan Joseph Lawrence and Rani Laskar Dhyrianathan, who was the former Principal of GC College, Silchar.

Prince Lawrence Dhyrianathan was born in the year 1970 at Silchar. He was the batch-mate of Silchar MP Dr Rajdeep Roy. A brilliant student himself, Prince Lawrence was unable to appear for the HSLC examination in 1987 as he was suffering from cancer at that time. However, later on he successfully fought with the disease and completed his educational career with brilliant performance. He gradually went on to become an IT professional.

For two decades, he worked as an IT professional in Delhi, Bengaluru and Adelaide. However, cancer revived again and finally he passed away on 3 April. He is survived by his wife Paulami and twin wards Pranbhi and Pranab. His last rites was performed in Adelaide on 6 April.
