Alliance Air resume operations at Silchar Airport after 10 years with its inaugural Silchar- Imphal flight

way2barak, Nov.25: The Alliance Air resumed operations at Silchar Airport today with the inaugural flight on the Silchar – Imphal route after a long gap of more than 10 years. The flight was inaugurated by Pulak Das, nominee of Silchar MP Dr Rajdeep Roy & Apd Silchar in the presence of senior officials of the Airport.

The inaugural RCS UDAN flight saw good response from passengers. 40 passengers arrived on the inaugural flight and 25 passengers departed for Imphal. “Best wishes to Alliance Air & request them to provide more connectivity options/ routes at IXS,” stated Silchar Airport Authority. The first passenger at Silchar airport was ceremonially handed over the boarding pass by the station manager.
