All subordinate courts of Assam to function between 10 AM to 1 PM: Guwahati High Court

May 15: In the backdrop of the spike in Covid cases, Gauhati High Court vide Notification no. 35 dated 1st May, 2021 and Notification no. 41 dated 12th May, 2021, had issued certain guidelines and norms to be followed for functioning of the subordinate courts of Assam.

Now, with a view to further contain the spread of the virus, the Chief Justice of Gauhati Court has directed all subordinate Courts of Assam to function between 10 AM to 1:00 PM during the continuation of Notification no. 35 dated 1st May, 2021 and Notification no. 41 dated 12th May, 2021. The other guidelines shall remain the same. The order was issued on 14 May, 2021.
