All family members & house helpers of Rudra Gupta tests negative

July 7: In what seems to be a major relief at this juncture is that the family members of Rudra Narayan Gupta tested negative. Not only his family members,  but all their house helpers report is also negative. It needs mention here that Rudra Narayan Gupta, Managing Director of Green Heals Hospital tested positive on Monday.

Sharing this information in a social media post on Tuesday, Dr. Tanushree Deb Gupta, wife of Rudra Gupta wrote, “We all at the Gupta family including our house helpers have been tested Covid- Negative as the test results are out just now.”

She further added that, “Only Rudra has been tested positive and is on his way to a speedy recovery. Thanks for everyone’s support and relentless prayers that each one of us are safe and sound! Still we are taking utmost caution and necessary precautions. Thanks once again the support extended by friends, family and everyone near and dear one.”

However, as per protocol, the house of Rudra Narayan Gupta inside the campus of Ramanuj Gupta College, was declared as a containment zone by the district administration on Monday as a precautionary measure .

At present Rudra Narayan Gupta is admitted at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). His condition is stable.
