AGP exhibits strength at their old bastion in Algapur; Atul Bora train guns on Congress, AIUDF

Jan. 6: Asom Gana Parisad (AGP) president Atul Bora on Wednesday took part in ‘Jatiya Oikya Samaroh’ at one of its oldest bastions at Algapur in Hailakandi district of Assam. Later on taking to his twitter handle, Atul Bora wrote, “The roar of ‘Pragatisil Jatiyatabad’ resounded at Barak valley. Congratulations to Algapur Bidhan Parishad & all the karmakartas for organising such a vibrant meeting today.”

He said that the Congress, and the AIUDF party has always considered the minority groups as ‘Third Class Citizens’. The only cure for this problem is to boycott the alliance and support the AGP, which will work for holistic development. He further said that the Congress since Independence has used the minority groups as their own ‘vote bank’.

Further, the AGP President also held a meeting of the Karmakartas in Sonai. He tweeted, “Addressing the dedicated Karmakartas at a ‘Daliya Karmi Sabha’ at Sonai, I urged them to work towards further strengthening the party in the coming days.”
