সবচেয়ে বেশি আসন না পেলে আর বরাকে আসব না, মন্তব্য প্রদেশ বিজেপি সভাপতির
State BJP President won’t come to Barak anymore if party doesn’t get highest votes here

৩০ নভেম্বর : পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে বিজেপি বরাকে সবথেকে বেশি আসন না পেলে আর কখনও এই উপত্যকায় পা রাখবেন না প্রদেশ সভাপতি রঞ্জিত দাস। শুক্রবার দলীয় প্রার্থীদের প্রচারে উধারবন্দের এক নির্বাচনী জনসভায় বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে এ মন্তব্য করেছেন তিনি। পাশাপাশি তিনি দাবি করেন, বরাক উপত্যকার মানুষ উন্নয়নের দিকে চোখ রেখেই বিজেপিকে ভোট দেবেন। কারণ এই সরকার আসার পরই বরাকে সবচেয়ে বেশি উন্নয়ন হয়েছে।

প্রদেশ বিজেপি সভাপতি এ দিন দাবি করেন, শুধু বরাক উপত্যকা কেন গোটা রাজ্যে পঞ্চায়েতে সবচেয়ে বেশি আসন পাবে বিজেপিই। তিনি বলেন, বর্তমান সরকারের আমলে প্রধানমন্ত্রী আবাস যোজনায় স্বচ্ছতা এসেছে। সাধারণ মানুষকে চিকিৎসা ব্যবস্থার যথাযথ সুফল পাইয়ে দিতে একাধিক স্বাস্থ্য প্রকল্প গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে। গরিব পরিবারের পড়ুয়াদের বিনামূল্যে বই দেওয়া হচ্ছে। এইসব উন্নয়ন দেখেই সাধারণ মানুষ পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে বিজেপির সঙ্গে থাকবেন বলে তিনি দাবি করেন।

প্রাক্তন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী কবীন্দ্র পুরকায়স্থ তাঁর বক্তব্যে গ্রামীণ এলাকা উন্নয়নের ওপর বিশেষ জোর দেন। তিনি বলেছেন, গ্রাম উন্নত হলেই গোটা দেশ উন্নত হবে। সভায় বিজেপি জেলা সভাপতি কৌশিক রাই, বিধায়ক মিহির কান্তি সোমও বক্তব্য রাখেন। অন্যদের মধ্যে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সর্বভারতীয় মহিলা নেত্রী শিপ্রা গুন, রাজ্য সাধারণ সম্পাদক ফণীন্দ্রনাথ শর্মা প্রমুখ।

November 30: If BJP fails to get maximum number of seats in the Panchayat Election of 2018, then the party’s State President Ranjit Das will never ever set his foot in the soil of Barak. This statement was made by Ranjit Das during election campaign in support of his party’s candidate at Udharband, Cachar on Friday. At the same time, he also asserted that the people of Cachar will vote keeping in mind the overall development of Cachar.

Further, the State BJP President also claimed that his party will get the highest number of seats not only in Barak Valley but in entire Assam. He said that under the present political dispensation, there is transparency in Indira Awas Yojana. Multiple health schemes were launched by this government to cater to the health facilities of common man. Students belonging to poor and backward section were given free books. He claimed that, on the backdrop of all these developments, common people will stand beside the BJP in the forthcoming Panchayat election.

In his speech, former Union Minister, Kabindra Purkayastha stressed upon the development of the rural sector. He said, “The nation will prosper only when the villages prosper.” In that meeting, other leaders of the party including District President Kaushik Rai and MLA Udharband Mihir Kanto Shome also addressed the gathering. Others who were present in the dias are All india Women leader of BJP Shipra Goon, State General Secretary of the party Fanindra Nath Sharma and others.
