Adequate measures adopted by Hailakandi Police for smooth flow of vehicles carrying candidates to Silchar

way2barak, Aug. 27: In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic of all the vehicles taking candidates who are appearing in the Grade 3/ Grade 4 recruitment exam in Silchar on 28 August, adequate measures have been taken. It includes deployment of CRPF and State police at 16 strategic points. Recovery van will be in the area to remove any malfunctioning vehicle. This was stated in a release issued by Hailakandi Police.

Heavy vehicle movements on the route will be stopped from 4 am of 28 August and will be regularised in the evening after the examination. Senior officers will be in the field to monitor the situation. It was advised that trains are scheduled to cross Katakhal rail gate at 7:50 am, 8 am, 8:58 am and 9:32 am as per Railway authorities and therefore the rail gate will be closed for few minutes as per procedure. Hence, candidates are to plan their journey accordingly.
