Adani becomes richest person in Asia, Mukesh Ambani in 2nd spot

Feb. 8: Gautam Adani, Chairman of Adani Group surpassed Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani to become Asia’s richest person after his net worth reached $88.5 billion on Monday. This is as per the Bloomberg Billionaries index.

The net worth of Mukesh Ambani stands at $87.9 billion. Adani is the world’s biggest wealth gainer of 2022 so far. Zhong Shanshan is Asia’s third richest person. It needs mention here that Ambani was holding the top position on India’s rich list for the last 14 years.
