Active cases come down to 3,964 in Assam, positivity rate 0.79 on the day of Diwali
107 tests +ve in Assam on Saturday; 529 patients discharged
Nov. 15: On Saturday, out of 13,616 tests only 107 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,10,175 out of which, 4,799 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.79 percent.
On Saturday, 529 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,05,247 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 03 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 961.
