ABVP organises voluntary blood donation camp at Cachar College

May 5: Silchar Unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organised a blood donation camp at Cachar College on Wednesday. “In the present phase of pandemic, normal blood donation camps are not held as it used to be during the pre-corona period. However, the need for blood is always there. Keeping this in mind, we have taken the endeavour of organising this blood donation camp,” said the organisers of the camp.

ABVP further appealed to the people to donate blood, save lives and also get vaccinated. Jana Sampark Pramukh of Northeast Region ABVP along with Jila Pramukh Ratan Kumar Das also donated blood in this Mega blood donation conducted by ABVP. The voluntary blood donation camp was organised by ABVP in association with Indian Red Cross Society, District Branch, Cachar.  A total of 15 persons donated blood during the day.
