2,198 found Covid +ve in Assam, 416 discharged 2 deaths registered on Monday

Jan. 10: On Monday, out of 49,964 tests, 2,198 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 6,28,939. The positivity rate in the state is 4.49 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 760 positive cases during the day. Further, on Monday, 02 died in the state due to COVID-19. The deceased are from Cachar & Kamrup (Metro). The death toll in the state stands at 6,183. The recovery rate is 97.71 percent. Also, 416 patients were discharged during the day. At present, there are 6,867 active cases in the state.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 988 persons tested positive in Assam and 01 death was registered.
