A glance of the water level of rivers in Barak Valley on Thursday

May 19: The water level of Barak and other rivers in Barak Valley has already crossed the danger level. However, with incessant rainfall, the level of the rivers at various places of the valley were found to vary.

As per report received from Assam Water Resource Department, river Barak at Annapurna Ghat, Silchar at 10 AM on Thursday was flowing much above the danger level and was recorded at 21.38 metres. The danger level at this point is 19.83 metre. The water level was steady at this hour.
