120 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 65 discharged

May 17: Hailakandi registered 120 new COVID-19 cases on Monday. Of the 120 positive cases detected on Monday, 115 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 05 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 760 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,865 RAT tests and 37 RT-PCR tests were done. 65 patients were discharged during the day.. It needs mention here that 76 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 4,617.

As of now, in the 18 plus category, 5,130 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine. In the 45 plus category, 46,150 have received the 1st dose of the vaccine, whereas, 15,057 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
