Venue fixed for mandatory Covid test of officials & staff engaged in counting duty at NATRiP
April 30: As mandated by ECI, all officials and staff engaged in counting duty are to undergo Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) to be allowed inside the counting hall. To facilitate testing, 7 venues have been fixed across Cachar district wherein the the officials engaged in counting duty may walk in and get themselves tested. The RAT will be done in the designated venues on 30 April and 1 May from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The venues and approximate persons to be tested over there are: Govt Girls HS School, Silchar 600, Udharbandh PHC- 75, Lakhipur PHC -60, Dholai PHC 200, Sonai PHC 50, Bokhola PHC 150, Katigorah PHC 30.
There will be a separate counter set up exclusively for counting personnel at these venues and all such personnel need to produce their counting duty order to avail the facility. It is mandatory for all counting personnel to get themselves tested and produce the result slip at the entrance of NATRIP on the day of counting. However, persons who have already taken two doses of Covid vaccine are exempted from the test and they will need to produce a printed copy of their vaccination certificate.
