1 dead & 2 injured at Mahasadak after electric pole fell over auto & caught fire

April 25: In the holy month of Ramjan, Runu Begum along with her husband went to her paternal home at Lathigram near NATRiP for Iftar. However, while returning back in an auto rickshaw, she lost her life in a tragic mishap. As per eye witnesses, all of a sudden, a Hyundia Creta car came at a great speed from behind and overtook the auto. Losing control, the driver of the car hit an electric pole with all its might and overturned on the spot.

Instantly, the electric pole broke and the high tension wire fell on the autorickshaw, which caught fire. The auto was electrocuted and the lady was burnt alive. Two others were also severely injured. Her husband and the auto driver were rushed to the hospital. As per their family source, the deceased lady got married just 15 days ago.
