1651 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Tuesday, 3 deaths registered

April 20: On Tuesday, out of 67,151 tests, 1651 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. This is the highest single day total positive cases in the state in 2021. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,27,473. The positivity rate in the state is 2.46 percent. Kamrup (M) district registered a record number of 742 positive cases during the day.

On Tuesday, 279 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,17,296, patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam. The recovery rate in the state is 95.53%.
