Assam registers 2 more deaths due to COVID-19 on Tuesday, toll reaches 1040

Dec. 29: On Tuesday, two  more persons lost their ives in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 1040. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 02 deceased were identified as:

• Mafida Begum (63) of Sivasagar
• Juna Khatun (75) of Dhubri
