All regular candidates to be allowed to appear for HSLC Exam, 2021 without any detention

Nov. 18: In a significant announcement, Board of Secondary Education (SEBA), Assam stated that during the forthcoming HSLC Examination, 2021, all regular candidates should be allowed to appear for HSLC/AHM examinations without any detention. A notification to this respect was issued by Suranjana Senapati, Secretary, SEBA, Assam on 17 November, 2020.

The said notification stated, “Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the educational institutions were closed since 15 March, 2020. During the period of closure of schools, Unit test/ Half Yearly exams etc could not be held.  Therefore in order to facilitate all students to appear for the HSLC/ AHM examination, 2021, all heads of the Institutions are hereby requested to allow all the regular candidates to appear in the said examination, 2021, without any detention. However for revision etc, revisionary test may be conducted in the month of February 2021.”
