465 tests +ve in Assam on Monday; 785 patients discharged
Active cases 8,481 in Assam
Nov. 2: On Monday, out of 30,334 tests only 465 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,06,982, out of which, 8,481 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1,53 percent.
On Monday, 785 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,97,566 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 01 more person in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of the state to 932.
