448 tests +ve in Assam on Wednesday; 1487 patients discharged
Active cases 11,803 in Assam
Oct. 22: On Wednesday, out of 26,150 tests only 448 were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,05,237, out of which, 11,803 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1,71 percent.
On Wednesday, 1487 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,92,514 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 03 more persons in the state died due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally of the state to 917.
