দিসপুর থানায় কমলাক্ষ ও প্রদীপ দত্তরায়ের বিরুদ্ধে মামলা

৪ নভেম্বর : বিধায়ক শিলাদিত্য দেবের গ্রেফতারের দাবিতে যখন বিভিন্ন সংগঠনের প্রতিবাদ জোরদার হচ্ছে, তখন নতুন করে পাঁচ বাঙালি নেতার বিরুদ্ধে মামলা দায়ের হল। এই পাঁচ নেতার মধ্যে বিধায়ক শিলাদিত্য দেব তো রয়েছেনই, বাকি নেতারা হলেন করিমগঞ্জের বিধায়ক কমলাক্ষ দে পুরকায়স্থ, শিলচরের প্রদীপ দত্তরায়, বিটিসি-র বাঙালি যুব ছাত্র ফেডারেশনের নেতা সুজিত সরকার এবং প্রাক্তন মন্ত্রী চন্দন সরকার। শনিবার রাতে দিসপুর থানায় এদের বিরুদ্ধে মামলাটি দায়ের করেন দুর্নীতি বিরোধী মঞ্চের পক্ষে ধর্মানন্দ গগৈ। তিনি এই নেতাদের বিরুদ্ধে উসকানিমূলক বক্তব্যের অভিযোগ এনেছেন।

এ দিকে, এই মামলার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে প্রদীপ দত্তরায় বলেন, তিনি কোনওভাবেই উসকানিমূলক বক্তব্য রাখেননি। বরং উসকানির জবাবে তিনি জানতে চেয়েছিলেন, বরাককে নিয়ে বাঙালি, বড়োল্যান্ড নিয়ে বড়োরা, পাহাড়ি রাজ্য গঠন করে কার্বি ও ডিমাসারা এবং কামতাপুর রাজ্য গঠন করে কামতাপুরীরা সরে গেলে অসমিয়ারা কাদের নিয়ে থাকবে? তিনি আরও বলেন, নিজে যেহেতু হাইকোর্টের আইনজীবী এবং আইন তাঁর পেশা, সেজন্য তিনি আইনকে শ্রদ্ধা করেন। এই মামলার জন্য তাঁকে আদালতে ডাকা হলে তিনি আইনের প্রক্রিয়া মেনেই উপস্থিত থাকবেন। সঙ্গে এও বলেছেন, নিজের বিরুদ্ধে মামলার ওকালতি তিনি নিজেই করবেন।

তৃণমূল নেতাদের অসমে আসারভবিষয়ে তিনি বলেছেন, পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় যেভাবে অসমে তৃণমূল প্রতিনিধি দল পাঠাচ্ছেন, তা একেবারেই অপ্রয়োজনীয়। তা ভালর চেয়ে অসমের বাঙালিদের জন্য ক্ষতিকারক হবে। এখানকার বাঙালিরা নিজেদের সংকট থেকে বেরিয়ে আসতে নিজেরাই রাস্তা খুঁজবেন। এর জন্য মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের হস্তক্ষেপের প্রয়োজন নেই।

November 4: When demands were raised at various forum for the arrest of MLA Siladitya Deb, fresh FIR was lodged at Dispur Police Station, Guwahati against 5 Bengali leaders. They include Siladitya Deb, MLA Karimganj Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha, former ACKSHA leader Pradip Dutta Roy from Silchar, Sujit Sarkar-leader of Bengali Youth Students Federation from BTC and former minister Chandan Sarkar. On Saturday, FIR was lodged against these Bengali leaders at Dispur Police Station by Dharmananda Gogoi of Anti-Corruption Forum.

Meanwhile, speaking to way2barak, Pradip Dutta Roy said that he never gave any provocative speech. Rather he questioned “Who will the Assamese stay with, if Barak is separated by the Bengalis, Bodoland by the Bodos, Karbi Anglong & Dimasa form one state and Kamatapur becomes a new state? He further said that, as because he is a practicing Advocate at Gauhati High Court, he is well aware of the lays and also respects law. If he is summoned by the court, he will definitely take recourse to law and do what the law prescribes. He also said that he will fight his own case himself.

Commenting on the visit of Trinamool delegation to Assam, Mr. Dutta Roy said that, it is useless to send any delegation by the TMC in Assam. This visit will rather be detrimental for the Bengalis of Assam in the long race. The Bengalis of Assam knows well to find solution of their own problems. He criticized the interference of Mamata Banerjee and her party in the internal affairs of Assam.
