Silchar Veteran Cricketers Club to conduct walkathon on 4 October

Sept. 27: Silchar Veteran Cricketers Club (SVCC) is all set to conduct a Walkathon on 4 October, 2020 as a part of the Fit India Movement. Speaking on behalf of the SVCC, Bijendra Prasad Singh during a press meet on Saturday said that the Club has taken this initiative to promote healthy habits and aspire for a COVID-free world. The walkathon on 4 October will begin from Silchar DSA Stadium complex. He appealed to the people at large to take part in the grand walkathon maintaining all COVID-19 protocols. “Be healthy, be safe is our motto,” said Mr. Singh.
