Leo Club of Karimganj Youth distributes food packets among the poor & destitute

Sept. 15: Leo Club of Karimganj Youth (Youth Wing Of Lions Club Of Karimganj) distributed more than 60 meal packets among the needy and homeless people of Karimganj on 14 September. Th endeavour was undertaken by the Leos as part of an International Mega Twinning Project which focused on Hunger Relief.

The project was initiated by Multiple Leo District 315, Bangladesh. A total of 296 Clubs across 16 Countries joined this project. The project in Karimganj was sponsored by Sourav Dev. Leo Mayurakhi Bhowmik, PRO of  Leo Club of Karimganj Youth said, “We are indeed greatful to Mr. Sourav Deb for sponsoring this project. We do commit to serve more people in the coming days. We further hope that more people will come up voluntarily and sponsor the projects as Mr. Sourav Deb has done. This will certainly be of immense help to the poor and needy.”

Present during the distribution of food packets were Leo members Rimu Kr Deb (President), Srinath Banik, Anirban Ghosh, Sohan Biswas, Anirudha Nandi, Abhishek Chakroborty, Hira Paul, Avishek Das, Animesh Singh and Rajdeep Goswami.
