2785 tests +ve in Assam on Monday, tally rises to 1,28,244

Sept. 7: On Monday, Assam registered 2785 new COVID-19 cases. With this, the state tally has now gone upto 1,28,244. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 2785 #COVID cases detected today out of 38611 tests done in last 24 hours Positivity Rate- 7.21% Kamrup M- 675, Dibrugarh- 220, Jorhat- 165, Lakhimpur- 126.”

Further, the state also registered 10 more deaths due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll of the state to 370.
