Leo Club of Silchar Central gives lifetime achievement award to Kamalendu Bhattacharjee

Sept. 5: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Leo Clubof Silchar Central honoured eminent teacher, Kamalendu Bhattacharjee. He was given the Lifetime Achievement award by Leo Central.

Expressing his views, Kamalendu Bhattacharjee said, “A good teacher,explains, A very good teacher , demonstrates, And the best teacher , inspires!” When asked about a message for the youth, Sri Bhattacharjee said, “Students should run after real knowledge and not just for mere certificates.

Narrating their experience, Leo Ananya Pandit, Project Chairman said, “We consider ourselves privileged that we could honour a man of the stature of Prof. Kamalendu Bhattacharjee. We learnt a  lot from such an inspiring personality. Sir is now 76 years old, yet he is still involved in nurturing and shaping young minds.”
