DC, CO visit COVID ward of civil hospital donning PPE kit

Sept.4: Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi, Megh Nidhi Dahal visited the COVID ward of SK Roy Civil Hospital here on Friday. Accompanied by Circle Officer, Hailakandi, Tridib Roy, Deputy Commissioner Dahal enquired about the patients well being. He asked the hospital authorities to ensure that hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.

Seeking cooperation of patients in maintaining cleanliness, Dahal and Roy, wearing PPE kit, requested the patients to throw their garbage at designated dustbins only. The Deputy Commissioner also took stock of new ventilators that arrived at the civil hospital recently and asked the authorities to install them as soon as possible.
The patients expressed their satisfaction over the slew of arrangements being made, including the quality of food served to them.

The Deputy Commissioner and Circle Officer also inquired about the well being of COVID frontline health workers working day in and day out in the hospital donning PPE kit.
