Music maestro Pandit Jasraj dies at 90 in the US

August 17: Indian classical vocal maestro Pandit Jasraj passed away on Monday in the United States. He had turned 90 in January this year. He was decorated with many prestigious awards like Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan. His musical career has spanned more than 80 years. As per a source, he died due to cardiac arrest.
