NGO Prachestha starts its journey, donates money to Bharat Sevashram for the needy

August 11: Keeping ahead the slogan of “Women Empowerment”, a socio-cultural organisation under the name & style “Prachestha” started its journey on Monday. It needs mention here that the members of ‘Prachesta’ are all housewives, who came together to do something beneficial for the society. To mark the beginning, the members of Prachestha went to Bharat Sevashram Sangha and handed over an amount to Swami Mrinmoyananda Maharaj. Further, the members of Prachestha also distributed copies and pen among the children.

Speaking to way2barak, the office bearers of Prachestha said, “We are here to seek the blessings of Swami Mrinmoyananda Maharaj before starting our new journey. We waste a lot of time after finishing our household chores in idle gossip. So we decided to make quality use of our leisure hours and do something fruitful for the poor and needy. We have much more plans, which we would unfold gradually.”

Present during the occasion were President of Prachestha Aloka Deb, Vice President Dipanjali Deb and Sunayana Paul, Secretary Rakhi Roy, Joint Secretary Omrita Sinha and Sonali Paul, Treasurer Pompi Rani Deb. Apart from them, Taniya Das, Anamika Das, Swagata Chakraborty and Nandita Roy.
