DC Jalli visits Model Degree College at Borkhola, reviews COVID preparedness

July 17: In order to review COVID-19 preparedness, Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli visited the Model Degree College, Borkhola. DC Jalli was accompanied with a team comprising of ADC Health, officials of district health department and PWD Engineers. She took stock of the arrangements made therein and went around the campus to have a proper understanding of the available facilities. The Deputy Commissioner gave necessary instructions so that all arrangements are made properly.

On Friday, 15 more patients tested positive in Cachar district. The particulars of these 15 patients were furnished in 3 lists declared on Friday. A few of those detected positive on Friday were without any travel history and were having fever and cough/ Influenza Like Illness (ILI). With the 15 patients detected on Friday, the district tally has gone upto 529.
