9 more +ve cases detected in 5 districts of Assam, total rises to 783

May 27: Another 9 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive on Wednesday night. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted at 11.45 PM on Wednesday. The nine persons are from:

• 5 from Hojai
• 1 from Nagaon
• 1 from Morigaon
• 1 from Kamrup Metro
• 1 from Jorhat

With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in Assam has gone up to 783, out of which 689 are active cases.
